Every year Southport Triathlon welcomes over 1,000 multi-sport enthusiasts to the North West Riviera and now, we’re offering five of you the chance to join them for free!
From novices to elites, immerse yourself in the thrill of triathlon at one of the region's premier events in this famous seaside resort, which once saw former Ironman world champion Mark Allen take the win in dominant fashion.
About the race
Southport Triathlon & Duathlon takes place on 19 May and here's what you can expect:
- Swim in the sheltered waters of Southport Marine Lake
- Cycle on the flat, fast and fully-closed, traffic-free roads alongside the beach and dunes
- Run on the flat tarmac paths around the scenic Marine Lake
Available race distances
- Sprint-distance triathlon: 750m swim / 20km cycle / 5km run
- Standard-distance triathlon: 1,500m swim / 40km cycle / 10km run
New for 2024:
- Sprint-distance duathlon: 5km run / 20km cycle / 5km run
- Standard-distance duathlon: 10km run / 40km cycle / 5km run
